77-year-old SHARON ANN (Seitz) JOHNSON of Watkins passed away at her home on September 17, 2023. A memorial service with a luncheon to follow will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.

Sharon is survived by her husband – Douglas “Marvin” Johnson

66-year-old MICHELLE SUZETTE THOMPSON of Penrose, Colorado passed away in Pueblo, Colorado on September 6th.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 7th at the United Methodist Church in Litchfield, with visitation starting at 1 p.m.

Michelle (Angier) Thompson is survived by her husband – Todd Thompson

Sons – Tyler & Kelli of Valley City, North Dakota and Aaron of Penrose, Colorado

Siblings – Kevin & Lois Angier of Litchfield, Lynn & John Yen of Hastings, and Jennifer & Bill Francois of Houston, Texas and by several nieces, nephews and cousins

64-year-old DOUG RAY LITZAU passed away, after a battle with brain cancer,on September 13, 2023 at River Oaks on Shady Ridge in Hutchinson.

A memorial service will be held at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield onWednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11 A.M.with visitation starting at 10 A.M. After the service, there will be a time for family and friends to share memories and stories. A luncheon will follow. At the conclusion of the service and lunch, family will be gathering at Prairie Park in Litchfield to continue celebrating Doug’s life.

Doug Litzau is survived by his children – Douglas (Hannah) Litzau Jr. of Cape Coral, FL; Shannon (Tim) Wynia of Fargo, ND and Jessica (Travis) Odegard of Sacred Heart

JAMIE LEE PORTH passed away on August 5th due to complications from a stroke.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Darwin Township Hall on Saturday, September 16th from 2-to-4 pm. Friends and family are encouraged to bring along a favorite picture, or a memory, of Jamie, for this time of sharing.

A light lunch will be provided.

79-year-old ORVILLE DAHLK JR. of Cosmos passed away on Sunday, September 3rd at his home in Cosmos.

Private Family Service will be held.

Public Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 2-to-4 pm at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector.

Private Family Burial will be in the Cosmos Community Cemetery in Cosmos.

57-year-old THOMAS A. ZIPOY of Kimball passed away on Sunday, August 27,2023 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 1, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kimball. Burial will be at Fairhaven Cemetery.
